The Fox Hollow Wednesday Senior Men's Golf Club plays each Wednesday morning from mid-May through September, weather permitting. Dedicated to providing friendly competition and a chance to meet some other seniors who love the game of golf, participation is usually around 40 golfers each week. Participation is available to all Fox Hollow male members aged 55 years or older. Wednesday competitions are based on current handicaps and prizes are given for closest to pins on three of the par 3s, low gross, low net, deuces and rangs (skins) with strokes given on holes based on handicaps. All prizes are determined using a computer program that assigns strokes on appropriate handicap holes playing off of the lowest handicap in the field.
In addition, we also participate in two home and home tournaments (River Oaks and Hartlen Point). A match play competition is completed during July and August with prizes given out at the Senior Club championship. The Senior Club Championship is a two day tournament normally held toward the end of August. Fox Hollow seniors normally hold two scrambles using a reverse shot gun start. There is an opening scramble in June and a closing scramble in September. The scrambles are 4-man scrambles with teams configured by a computer draw based on current handicaps with a meal and prizes following.
The senior committee consists of Dave Brown, Ron Chisholm, Andre Rochefort, John Swan and Gary White
